Columbus, Ohio – EduTechnologic is pleased to announce it is joining the partnership with robotics educator RAMTEC and leading robotics company Yaskawa Motoman. This strategic partnership will support the State of Ohio in creating a highly sustainable workforce development model and will provide Ohio educators and students with STEM-aligned curriculum and training in order to become proficient in Industry 4.0 technologies.

EduTechnologic and RAMTEC demonstrated elements of this technology at the Governor’s Midwest Association’s Workforce Summit Sept. 26 hosted by Gov. John Kasich.

Kasich discussed the demand for educational entities to be nimble and adapt at the speed of the need of industry as well as the need for technology that supports people with disabilities.   EduTechnologic’s software solution includes tools to support people with visual impairments, and is extending the work by participating in a study with the Ohio State College of Optometry. EduTechnologic’s participation includes providing industry workers with on-the-job education and assistance through the use of augmented reality, blockchain, artificial intelligence, biometrics and machine learning via EduTechnologic’s in-house solutions, the Industrial Badger App™, and the Intelligent Mixed Reality™ Content Management System. Brad Henry, CEO of EduTechnologic, describes the solution as a workers tool with added features that support on-the-job training.  “We reduce the time required to train individuals by providing tools that support the worker in the workplace. Education never stops so we developed a solution that bridges the gap by providing industry a tool to allow people to succeed while not give the appearance of training. Our tool defines the worker and the workplace, which makes our platform industry agnostic” The application is designed for mobile and RealWear’s HMT-1 Wearable headset. This partnership follows the recent formation of the Ohio Manufacturing Workforce Partnership between Yaskawa Motoman and RAMTEC.

For more than 10 years, EduTechnologic has provided augmented reality, wearable and advanced technological solutions for industry and has more than 25 years of industry experience.
